Guided Historical Walking Tour

Join the Wayzata Historical Society for a guided walking tour of downtown Wayzata. Learn about the history of Wayzata and the many changes it has seen over the past 150+ years. See historic sites such as the Wayzata Depot and Great Northern Section House.

The Wayzata Depot Museum will be open to the public during James J. Hill Days from 12 – 4pm. Model Train Railroad will run both days from 1 pm – 4 pm (weather permitting).  

Wayzata History Trivia

Join us at the Sandvold Stage on Lake/Minnetonka Ave where we will test your Wayzata knowledge! 
Trivia times include Saturday at 1:45 pm and Sunday at 1:00 pm. 

Historical Walking Tours

• Guided tours begin at 11:00 am Saturday and Sunday

• Walking tours last approximately 1 hour

• Tours will start inside the Wayzata Depot Museum (right side of Depot – door faces Lake Minnetonka)
